Guest guest
Dear all, I have recently become a member of this group and thought it appropriate to introduce myself and learn more about all the other members. I am, Chandni Malik, 24, a Youth Program Fellow with the Asia pacific Division / Adolescent and Youth Cluster, of UNFPA. I have a Masters degree in Social Work, with a major in Family and Child Welfare from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and a Bachelors degree in Mass Media and Mass Communications from Delhi University. For the past two years, I have been working in the field of Young Peoples Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. I was employed with an NGO based in Mumbai called Modicare Foundation as a Program Officer for the School and College Program, and was a State Level Trainer (of trainers) for UNICEF on their SALSEP (School Adolescents Life Skills Education Program), in Maharashtra, India. I am currently based at the UNFPA Headquarters in New York, where I work on issues pertaining to youth in Asia including setting up of youth advisory panels for countries on their request. It would be nice to know a little more about all of you, and I think its great that such a forum exists for us to discuss issues and interventions regarding HIV/AIDS in India. Thanks and regards, Chandni E-mail: <talktochandni@...>
