Fantastic News/Lucy's Surgery

Evening all,

Its been a long day in Oz, Lucy had her surgery today and just now I

heard from Caren, I am so happy all seems to have gone well.

Lucy had a good day, they saw noticable springing back of the tonsils,

she did not need a laminectomy and they split the dura rather than

patched it. I am unsure what splitting the dura means, Caren will

ask when she is able.

She is extubated and doing well, she is conversing that she is sore,

and will stay in ICU until probably tomorrow. This is great news,

a little three year old with the most wonderful good indicators so

far, enough to cheer the hearts of all of us.

I am so pleased for this family, they deserve all the good they can

get, and send a little thank you out tonight for Lucy, sore but better

and hopefully well on the road to a less troubled arnold.
