Yesterday I was doing some stuff that required a lot of kneeling and after I had

been on my knees for a few minutes, I totally went weird -- I guess you could

say I blacked out! I started getting really nauseous (sp?) and dizzy and then

this white circle shape thing came in from my peripheral vision and totally

whited everything out... then a very loud HUM started in my head - almost like a

speaker that is about to blow kind of sound, and I totally lost it. This lasted

for about a minute or two, and then Ian (dh) and another guy got me up into a

chair and had me drink some water and put my head down by my knees. It took

about 10 minutes for me to get back to " normal " . That was SO strange!

I talked to my dad about it, and he said that it happens sometimes, when you're

in a certain position for a long time -- the blood flow to your brain gets

slowed down or something. He was telling me about the day he graduated from

Basic training (he was in the army) and they had to stand at attention for

something like 3 hours. He said it was June, and very hot, and several of his

army buddies started dropping like flies and had to be taken to the hospital! I

am glad that I was able to come out of it - but BOY did it SCARE the living

bejeebees out of me!!! ZOIKS! is a word that comes to mind...

I was decompressed in Oct 99 and have been feeling great! But this week has

been one of those stressful, yucky weeks. I have been having some somewhat

severe muscle spasms in my upper back/lower neck for a few days, and a headache

yesterday. Having more muscle spasms today, and will be staying home from

church. Someone mentioned to me that maybe this was chiari stuff, but I really

don't want it to be. Any thoughts?
