Research Ideas on social determinants to ARV Treatment Adherence

Dear All,

Here's wishing you all a very Happy New Year. My name is Santosh Vijaykumar and

I'm a

first year doctoral student of Public Health at St.Louis University, USA.

As I began to explore topics for my final PhD dissertation, I was quite alarmed

at the lack

of research on social determinants to ARV Treatment Adherence in India and have

been

driven to consider exploring this area in depth. However, I am sure that most of

you are

far more experienced and knowledgeable in this field than yours truly and I

would

appreciate your advice on other equally or more critical issues that a

researcher can

address.

In the same vein, I am keen on opening a dialogue with any of you about other

possible

ideas for research, recruiting subjects, and testing theoretical constructs. I

am sure we're

all equally passionate about adding that one bit of knowledge to what exists and

I'm

banking on this to undertake a fascinating, yet meaningful project.
