Guest guest
That is profound!!! VERY interesting way of looking at it. I hope everyone has read the below. Guest guest
Hi Janie and EveryOne, I would bet that the need to balance both the thyroid and adrenals applies to most people who are hypothyroid. They knew that when they put the statement that the adrenals should be dealt with in every batch of thyroid meds. However, since most docs no longer know how to treat the adrenals or recognise anything other than Cushings or s the adrenals are ignored. It was Gracia who kept telling us all about the need to use Cortef etc. to support the adrenals. We all owe her a lot! Someday everyone will know about this but we are lucky to know now:-)) When you consider that DHEA and Progesterone are also made in the Adrenal glands along with Cortisol you begin to see how important they are. Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev Thyroid-Adrenal Connection http://www.bestweb.net/~om/thyroid

You could also add " However, since most docs no longer know how to " PROPERLY TREAT THYROID DISORDERS OR TEST CORRECTLY FOR THEM, OR RECOGNIZE ANYTHING OTHER THAN A TSH RANGE OR SYNTHROID....... " You know, if my female-hormonal-reaction-from-hell continues to be gone as it has for the past 6 days since I started Isocort, I WILL BE AMAZED, AMAZED. The female hormonal reaction has been the ONLY clue that I needed adrenal support, since I have done well on Armour alone, unlike Val or Jewel or others. And I didn't even KNOW it was a clue that I needed adrenal support since Armour alone reversed my life 360 degrees. Janie )
