Guest guest
I just read this morning that the I Love You virus has mutated and it's now making it's rounds disguised as a joke and other things. For most people the threat is, don't download the attachment, becareful with attachments even if it's from someone you know. AOL users (and I think Eudora as well) can't autorun the virus by opening the email so your safe. If you use Outlook Express you CAN autorun it unless you have Security Preferences set to high, if you use Outlook Express Go to Tools > Options > Select Security and Change it to Restricted Zone. Presuming you have the Default Settings for the zones, your security will then be set to high and it won't autoexecute things in email. If you want to be sure, go to Start>Control Panel>Internet and select Security. You'll have 4 icons for different level of settings. These affect your Internet Explorer web browser too, iclick on the one that looks like a Do Not Enter sign, it should be set to High Security, that's what you just changed Outlook Express to. For the General Intenet settings I recommend Medium or High Security. Pete
