For more information please see website www.innhivaids.org 9th National Convention of Indian Network of NGOs on HIV/AIDS (INN) The annual convention of INN will be held in Hyderabad, the IT city of India from February23-25 2006. The INN Governing council is happy to announce that the overall response is very good. The conference promises to be bigger and better than before. Increased interest in HIV/AIDS and especially with the prevalent HIV situation in Andhra Pradesh will attract more participants from all over the country. We, the INN members are confident that this Convention will be another path finding efforts for the NGOs to mitigate the spread of HIV/AIDS/STIs and to look forward for taking up programmes and care, counseling and access to treatment. The convention theme is- Repositioning HIV/AIDS Awareness and Control- Impact of newly emerging issues, and characterizes the many aspects that need to be addressed. The convention intends to provide updates on recent research and trial on Indian Vaccine and Microbicides and the Status of Female Condom ,a forum for the discussion on new developments ,keeping focus on the women's vulnerability and prevention methods available to them. There will be several skills development workshops on advocacy and campaign. There will be discussion on NAPH III,which is going to be implemented from June 2006,in India. We encourage you to register yourself to share the very important work you are doing in your respective fields related to HIV/AIDS, Reproductive and Sexual Health, and issues of the minority groups. We look forward to receive you in Hyderabad.
