Guest guest
Hello dear ones, I'm doing a website about my daughter and thyca. On one of the pages I'd like to share just a few of her favorite LID recipes. I also intend to put together a recipe box to give to her when she's grown up and moved out. (And I'm trying to get more organized for her next hypo scan date.) As I was going through my recipes, many shared by all of you, I came across some ingredients that I remember we debated about and couldn't remember the final verdict. So if I could bother you all with your opinions and knowledge? Here are the ones that I wondered about: 1. baking soda and baking powder 2. applesauce (the sheet given us by our nuc med doc just said no " canned " applesauce) 3. juice, lemon or orange (should these be fresh squeezed?) 4. and was it determined that 7-Up and other colorless soda's were okay if they were purchased in plastic bottles and not cans? 5. wheat flour (I seem to remember that unbleached flour is what was best) I probably have this information somewhere in my files but I'm hopelessly disorganized and it would take me forever just to find it. Thank you so much for your help. Sincerely, , mother of 13yrs old : pap/fol thyca, TT 8/30/95, 3 RAI tx, 3 clean scans, high antibodies...
