Dianne,

Good for you on the work out. Next time, try weighing yourself before

and after. You may be surprised! I sweat atleast 5 pounds on the

treadmill. That is dehydration. you need to replenish as much as you

sweat. Don't get me wrong. It doesn't mean you haven't lost but right

after you work out is not accurate, especially after the sauna. Sorry,

not trying to be a downer. Just don't be disappointed if it is more

tonight or tomorrow.

Hugs,

Gena

Hi Folks!

Just finished my workout at the gym which was the bicycle for warm-

up, then the treadmill for about 23 minutes, some ab and arm

excersizes and then enjoyed the sauna for awhile.

On my way out, I stopped and weighted myself at the scale at the gym

and I am another 6-1/2 lbs lighter than I was on Tuesday. (I think

there is about 3-4 lbs difference from my scale at home versus the

one at the gym) so maybe it is only a total of 4-5 lbs more which

definetly sounds healthier. Even if I go by the scale at the gym

only it seems I am almost 10 lbs lighter than I was about 1 week

ago. Not sure how possible that is but this is how I am seeing it.

I weighted myself with the scale at the gym about a week ago and was

11 lbs. more than I was today.

Hope I am not confusing anyone. My scale at home I have to subtract

2-1/2 lbs all the time because it does not start exactly at 0. It

starts at 2-1/2 lbs. (Can't seem to fix that)

I am really starting to feel good about all this. I see a difference

slightly almost everywhere!

Thank you everyone. This group helps so much. It is nice to know

LOL! Hi Gena,

Just as you guessed, I think I was up slightly this morning and even

more this afternoon. Wow.. I have never seen such a yo-yo in weight

loss and gain! Well, today is my day for resting. I chose to not

excercize. I had alot of things to do around the house but I did

want one glass of wine tonight so I chose to take a very small walk

after dropping putting my clothes in the dryer. :)

This group is so informational.

Dianne,

It is just normal fluctuations. They happen quite frequently. It is

normal. The thing is to know when it is just a fluctuation or when it

is real weight loss or gain. That comes from knowing your body, what

your activity level is, what you have eaten, what time of month it is,

ect. It is many different things. I don't worry about going up for 2-4

days but if I stay up more than that and it isn't that time of the

month then I know I have screwed up. Either eaten to much or not

exercised enough. The thing is I don't let it freak me out. I just try

to do better.

but it's good to give that info, because inever thought of that, and

it would be nice just to see how much weight tha was sweated off.

also that way we don't get down on ourselves that oh we really didn't

lose anything or gee i gained it back because that wouldn't

necessarily be true.
