Hello colleagues,

This is for RDs in the Portland OR area. I'm seeking contact info for

Portland, OR food banks. Please reply privately.

My husband and I are looking out for a shy young woman (from Montana) in

culinary school in Portland since last August. She hasn't been able to

find employment there, has used up her savings and is broke. It's a

long story. Last night when I probed what she was eating the response

was foods she makes in school (which is primarily baked goods!) Having

a 4.0 in culinary school isn't immediately helpful for her! She is

ineligible for food stamps bc she's a student.
