The news about the alliance between G. Komen race for cure and KFC is

not being taken pleasantly by people. The question being asked to her is

that how appropriate is to team up the two, former is fighting against breast

cancer and latter is popular for the cruelty shown towards chicken.

It has been confirmed that KFC will sell pink colored buckets containing

fried chicken and the money collected will be donated for saving lives of

millions of women suffering from breast cancer. The sale will start from the

May. The franchise will be donating an amount of 50 cents on each sale.

According to tis website, so far KFC has contributed $1.7 million and plan

to achieve the goal of $8 million.

A lot of outrage is being noticed not just on the nutrition and cancer

blogsbut also on the social networking websites like Twitter and

Facebook. The

blogs question as to how fair it is to donate money earned by the gruesome

killing of chickens to a life saving cause.

The link up of G. Komen with KFC is like promoting intense animal

cruelty. KFC has been critics a lot for their bad treatment to the chickens

before they are sliced to death.
