Avon does make something specifically for those stretch marks. I

have it and it does seem to work. Also, yes you are getting more

stretch marks, comes with losing weight.

Realy? Seems they would come from skin stretching, not getting

smaller. Hmm...can't win for loosing. (oops, almost got back inot

the '...' thing didn't I?)

Which thing is it? That watery citris stuff? And does it do

anything for the rumply stuff under the surface or is it like a

vanishing cream/spot fading thing?

I realy can't see how skin can get stretchmarks from loosing wieght.

I think it just looks like it because the fat layer is shrinking and

changing the shape of the skin, thus the markings on it.

My husband (lost over 200 pounds in a year) had alot of stretchmarks

that have fadded to nothing, but he still has some hangy skin in his

belly and thighs from such a fast loss with not enough protien.

Protie gives skin the elasticity it needs to go back into place.

Aslo, vitamin E oil is the best thing (so my surgon told me).

Tammy,

Depends on the person and how fast you lose and your skins elasticity.

That's why lot's of antioxidants are good. They help with the

elasticity and lots of water too. I have been told it will shrink,

eventually, just takes time. Even after losing 84 I am surprised that I

actually don't have much lose skin. I have been losing slow though.

Well not at all for awhile. Guess the skin had time to catch up. :-)

I assumed she meant the stretch marks and stretched skin become more

noticeable when you lose weight. The problem is that the stretched skin

doesn't " snap back " right away. My sister says the skin on her abs never

completely snapped back from pregnancy-- it snapped back part way.

Take a look in one of my other posts. I don't have it in front of me

something citrus I think and no, it does nothing for that " lovely "

LOL...

There are times I wish I could just go to a plastic surgon and go

have everything sucked free of fat - cut off, tied up, lifted - just

plain de-aged!

Then if I realy had the money to do it - I'd be afraid to.

LOL...

There are times I wish I could just go to a plastic surgon and go

have everything sucked free of fat - cut off, tied up, lifted - just

plain de-aged!

Then if I realy had the money to do it - I'd be afraid to.

i feel the same way, but i wouldn't have it everywhere, just my

stomach and some from my butt. but that's it, i don't want implants,

i just want to lose the body part that bugs me. they don't even have

to get it all perfect, i just want to be able to get so far and work

for the rest if it were that easy for me. which is odd because most

people would want the whoel thing done, not me i want to get some the

easy way and then work off the rest and maintain.
