Guest guest
Hi , I am Ula, age 29 (but only for a few more days...yikes). I also have a BU. I did not find out about my BU until I was 8 weeks pregnant. I went through a lot of worry and stress during my pregnancy due to the BU, but on 9/5/01 I gave birth to a full-term, normal, healthy, wonderful baby girl! The only real complication I had was that I had to have a c-section. Also, my baby was estimated to be growth-restricted (as measured by ultrasound) at the end of my pregnancy, but she ended up a fairly normal size at birth (6lbs. 6 oz.). I'm sorry for your losses, and I am really sorry the hospital is making you wait for a third miscarriage. That's an awful policy, in my opinion. However, don't give up hope! It could be true that the miscarriages were unrelated to your BU, and in any case there are lots and lots of BU success stories out there, including after multiple miscarriages. I wish you the best of luck and I know you will enjoy this wonderful group!
