Guest guest
OK, my wife is finally there and we're looking for solutions. At 49 she is having erratic periods, sometimes every two weeks, other times not for a few months. It's no fun for either of us when she experiences PMS every two weeks! Do any of you know what the latest bottom line is for HRT for premenopausal women? What I have found is that it is safe to do HRT for these younger women for about three years to alleviate symptoms, although hot flashes are not a problem at this time. Regarding supplements, it seems to me that the goal of them is to encourage production of estrogen, is it not? Then there are the potential liver problems with those supplements, etc. So, why not just do the HRT and be a little more predictable about the effects? Am I thinking correctly? Or, am I missing something here? I'm tired of reading all the studies online. Probably missed some.
