Guest guest
Hi: I am using Paxil l0mg daily for the last l0 days and my atrial tachycardia is ongoing for l8 days. I am also on Tambocor l00mg twice a day and blood thinners. Maybe I should reconsider and not take Paxil. I am glad you posed the question. Isabelle I haven't had any trouble with Paxil, but I take 5 mg for some days occasionally. Of course, it may cause trouble for some people and not others. Guest guest
Hi: Paxil is not a drug that can be taken on and off ....it needs sometimes up to a month to be effective, according to my Cardiologist. If you take it occasionally it is ineffective and you may experience withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking it...it should always be tapered off and mustn't be withdrawn abruptly. Thanks for your response. Isabelle > > Hi: I am using Paxil l0mg daily for the last l0 days and my > atrial > > tachycardia is ongoing for l8 days. My doc says it can be taken for short periods of time and then stopped. It does have some immediate effect.
