being in a bad mood without realy knowing why would be a big warning

for me. tired even if im not sleepy. A lot of times what will trigger

me is beyond my control, so I will do something that makes me feel

better like watch a favorite movie or listen to my favorite music. Or

just go somewhere for a walk. on my campus I have a favoirit tree. I

climb it and sit. I have spyed a good many things and conversations

up there. lol. I dont do it on perpouse. its a pine tree that is on a

hill so I can climb it well and be hidden in the branches. That

always makes me feel better.

LOL--we ALL have those "PMS" times (I'm post-menopausal, too).

Don't feel shy about grumping to us, we'll all understand.

And for heaven's sakes--ASK your Mom for help!

((((hugs))))

Kathy

Just a note

Hi,

Boy, am I grumpy. If I wasn't already post-menopausal, I'd think I was PMSing for at least the past week.

I had cabin fever so bad today that I had to bust out. Drove almost an hour to Rohnert Park just to go to a Burlington Coat Factory (never been to one before). It was interesting, and I can see that it has possibilities, but they've been doing a clearance sale for a while now, and pickings were pretty slim. In fact, all I bought was a small tension curtain rod. That will have a special place in my decorating scheme, but I'll tell you about that another time.

Melinda, glad you are doing better. Robyn, loved the pics of your home, Looks wonderful. Dawn, how are things going with your mom? Kat, sorry your grandpa is not doing well, but I hope you get your wish of moving to Edmonton.

, I think your daughter is going to be so happy with the results of her surgery-- I had a roommate in high school who was 5'2", weighed 95 lbs. and wore a 36DD bra. She could never find clothes. Later in life she had so much pain in her back and shoulders, and she had a reduction which she says is the best thing she ever did for herself.

, glad you had a nice trip and were able to find loads of stuff for the shower. I spent some time looking at baby clothes today, too, as I just learned my daughter is now seriously trying to become pregnant.

Pam, loved the pictures of you and -- so glad you could get together.

Chris-- isn't that wedding done yet? I know you must be having fun between the exhaustion, but we miss you!

Christy-- I wasn't ignoring your request for pictures of projects. I'm just so grumpy right now, I don't know when I'll ever get even one done, much less all of them (that's one of the things that is making me grumpy!). My mom, who has sewn since childhood, buys fabric for curtains, comes home and sews them the same day and has them hung up by evening. I keep waiting for her to come help me with measurements and hints, since I have done very little household type sewing (mostly only clothes and patchwork, etc.) and I know she knows I need help getting going, but I think she thinks she shouldn't volunteer info or something for fear of being pushy, and right now I'm feeling overwhelmed and would just like her to come and say "shall we do this now?" LOL I know, I know. She can't read my mind and I'll have to just out and say NOW, Mom!

OK, I know I've forgotten some people and things. I have been reading along-- just to grumpy to make comments. I need to go outside my front door and read that plaque that says "Life is Good". Maybe that would help.

Deb - Take a deep breath and relax. Let it slide sweetie. Light some candles and take a bubble bath or whatever. Then call your Mom and ask for help, she's just waiting for you to say the word.

Lots and lots of hugs,

Deb, I just wanted to comment on your trip to Burlington Coat Factory.

I have bought some neat stuff there but last summer I really got

burned . I bought Jim some shirts and stuff for his birthday at a

store in CA...well, nothing fit right so I took it all back. They

don't give refunds, they just give you in-store credit so you have to

spend the money there. I kept thinking I would get back to the store

before I left CA but I didn't so I thought for sure I could just turn

it in at another store. It didn't work. I tried to use it in

Greensboro, NC when I was there picking up Jim at the airport. They

said they couldn't accept it because it wasn't from their store. I

was so disgusted so I figured I would just fight it with the

headquarters. Guess what...somewhere along the way, I must have

thrown it out by accident...that was $80+ dollars down the drain and I

have no proof of ever having the credit. I will not buy clothes there

again...maybe a decor item of something but the stores are not like

they were when they first opened. They were delightful places to shop

at. You may have good luck with shopping for yourself but just be

careful if you are buying gifts that might need to be returned or

exchanged.
