(Dorlands says radicular is pertaining to a root or radicle, which isn't much help, but for radiculitis is defined as inflammation of the spinal nerve roots). Does that make it less like mud and more like water? BTW, there is no " verticular " . You might hear vertbral which has to do with vertebra/e.
