Guest guest
Hi Janie and EveryOne, I've been using Isocort for about four months now. Before that I had used Nurti-meds Thyroid and Adrenal hormones for about two years. I started on Armour and Isocort at nearly the same time. I have lots of symptoms of adrenal fatigue, in fact, I have often wondered if the adrenal fatigue didn't come first! Both the Armour and Isocort helped me immediately - no waiting time at all. Anyway, for the most part, I have take two Isocort in the am when I get up and then one or two more around 1pm. If I feel a cold or sore throat coming on I take more. Recently I added a Nutri-meds Thyroid and Adrenal tablet just before bed. Partly because they are milder and partly because I have some Nutri-meds thyroid to use up. I'm not sure yet, but it seems to me that if I take much thyroid or adrenal hormone in the evening it is too stimulating and it makes it harder for me to get to sleep. Calcium and Magnesium + Boron, helps but I am still experimenting with either thyroid or adrenal hormone in the evening. BTW I looked in 's Adrenal Fatigue where I had read that you should not take Calcium and Magnesium together but he did not say why. Each of us is so unique. It is only by trail and error that we will find out exactly what we need and how much and when. Using the natural hormones it seems relatively safe to keep " tweaking " until we find what works for each of us. It seems to me that depending on many factors the optimal dose of thyroid or adrenal hormone may even vary from day to day. Still learning every day:-)) Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev Thyroid - Adrenal Connection http://www.bestweb.net/~om/thyroid

I'd like to compare it to Isocort ingredients. Janie
Guest guest
> Raw Bovine Adrenal Tissue 80 mg > I'd like to hear what the Isocort labeling/ingredients are. ISOCORT says Freeze-dried Adrenal Cortex (5%), Echinacea Extract, and two other ingredients which mean nothing to me. And knock on wood, I MAY be finding some relief for my female hormonal hell. hmmmm. Time will tell. Janie

Guest guest
Do you think the relief is from the isocort, or do you take anything else - pcream, testosterone? Another question - I am going to add in isocort now and was wondering if I remember correctly - alternate my armour/isocort or at least just don't take them at the same time? something like 2 hours apart? Patti And knock on wood, I MAY be finding some relief for my female hormonal hell. hmmmm. Time will tell. Janie
