Guest guest
You can take some vanilla extract (just a couple drops will do) to flavor your yogurt. Even in Phase 1 it can work with some fat free plain yogurt. In Phase 2 I have been dropping in frozen blueberries thanks to the idea from my good friend. I always think of vanilla as being no flavoring, but yes... in most yogurts, vanilla is a flavored yogurt. > > Phrasing it a 'plain' yogurt is better. Thanks for clearing that up! >

Guest guest
I went to the store today and they didn't have any Blue Bunny "Lite 85" Vanilla Yogurt. I was majority craving yogurt so I picked up two different types, the Blue Bunny "lite 85" with peach a 6 oz serving. It has 80 calories, no fat but 14 carbs. Then I picked up one 6 oz container of Blue Bunny "Carb Freedom" peach. One serving has 90 calories , 2 g of fat ( 1.5 sat fat) and 5 carbs. I bought both but I don't know which one would be better? I would think that the one with the less Carbs would be better. What do you all think?Terri B...>>> You need to use the "Lite 85" because it is nonfat. The 'rule' for yogurt with SBD is *nonfat*, no sugar added yogurt. Be careful with the 'carb-friendly' type products. They often will be much higher in fat! Odds are, the Carb Freedom yogurt has less carbs *because* they added the fat to help with the taste! The Atkins-friendly ice cream had like 14g of fat per serving. UNREAL. So, definitely any of the "Lite 85" yogurts will be fine. Hope this helps! I love the Lite 85 yogurts. My faves are peach and strawberry.
