Guest guest
Hi Jenn! I'll send you some info privately, but basically the training covers 12 hours of narrated power-point slides that cover adverse food reactions including immune and non-immune reactions, basic immunology, learning what types of immune responses are involved in IBS, migraine, fibromyalgia, common co-morbid conditions, practical application of elimination diets, types of diagnostic testing for different types of adverse reactions, etc etc. There is a test that is taken at the end to receive certification. You can earn up to 20 sponsored independent learning hours with the training. In addition, each CLT-in-training receives mentorship by an experienced CLT and free access to our LEAP list-serve which is very helpful. Since 70-80% of the immune system is in the gut, I have found that a lab-guided, blood-based elimination diet such as LEAP that tests for all type III and type IV delayed hypersensitivity reactions has been very helpful with a wide variety of conditions. Subject: neurologist/migraine expert To: SN , rd-usa Date: Thursday, April 22, 2010, 1:18 PM Colleagues: Does anyone know of a neurology expert on migraines? A close friend developed this condition and now is overwhelmed by it. She is unable to go outside and light disables her. Please contact me if you know of a renowned neurologist in this area.
