Have not checked validity or any studies since there are no references cited. All I can think of is YUKK! But maybe it would be worth it to decrease the pain? Little did my g/mother know when she used to cleanse our systems in Puerto Rico making us drink awful tasting stuff that caused diarrhea to make sure we didn't have worms (being kids in PR and playing with dirt all the time, usually a few of us did).
