Jan,

I got there by logging in and going to the members section. On the

left side menu, there's a link to Publications that will take you there.

I just went on the ADA site and thought it was great. Just look under the member

tab under publications.

Here is my beef with the site; find a registered dietitian. You can opt to look

for a registered dietitian or a nutrition professional. If you are an RD, we get

a star by our name. I know the requirements for ADA membership (you don't have

to be an RD which I personally do not agree with). I objected when my local

dietetic association did the same thing and they had to change it to find a

nutrition professional. I find this misleading and I will send a note today to

ADA managemnet council.

Happy New Year!

I'm a bit confused. I just perused the entire Colorado listing. . . only

RDs except for one Dietetic Technician.

I perused another state, found one that didn't say " RD " but a google search

showed that she was an RD.

What other " professionals " are listed? (Oh, I know some non-RDs that were

grandfathered into ADA about 30 years ago. . . a few that come to mind are

highly qualified, so I don't have a problem with them either.)

I agree, ADA should ONLY be providing access to RD's otherwise why do we bother

to maintain this credential

I don't know the history and I am wondering when this change took place. I am

very opposed to it. I am sure all other health professionals do not allow

" others " to join their group.

Since I am not a member of ADA does it provide the names of nonmember

RDs or only members and other nutritional professionals. Now that

would be very interesting.

I am a member and RD however when I searched RDs in my area my name did not come

up. Do I need to do something to get recognized? Thanks Sara
