Guest guest
I just finished up the last of my home shows until January. It seems so strange to think I can work on our new house and projects that I have been putting off because my holiday season has been so busy (by the way, if you need some bath and body Christmas gifts.. www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/mindy guaranteed xmas delivery until Sat.) Ok that was a plug. But seriously I just don't know how to prioritize anymore. I have a zillion things to do but they seem so jumbled or I start them with no planning. I try to make a nightly to do list for the next day. This works great when I can remember where I put the darn thing or if I remember to bring my list with me throughout the day. How do you prioritize? Or better yet how do you maintain your focus when you know your focus is quirky? I'm trying to avoid what I did last week. I went to the new house and started painting in the master bedroom. Somehow put my brush down when I answered the phone and when I got off the phone, I was painting in the hallway. Thank goodness they are the same color..sighh... Mindy
Guest guest
I became disabled when a fellow administrator at my agency attacked me and my colleague (male) in front of a group of patients. I did not realize it at the time, but I ( had sustained a severe injury to both shoulder rotator cuffs, and lost the use of my hands and arms gradually over ten months; went on SSDI, and had NINE YEARS of physical therapy and other treatment at Stanford and now I CAN type (badly) on a computer, but can barely write, so I print up all my little reminders on the computer, print up no end of lists, and even then, get home from shopping, only to find that I have forgotten at least one item--again! Soooooooo, frustrating! Keep prioritizing! Love, n Prioritizing everyday life I just finished up the last of my home shows until January.
