Successful Nutrition Consulting Company seeks energetic, enthusiastic Registered

Dietitian to join our team.   Part-time or full-time position available.  

Must be a motivated, flexible, self starter who possesses excellent

communication skills and works well independently with limited direction and

supervision.  

 

Responsibilities may include clinical coverage at a small community hospital,

coverage in long term care or sub-acute nursing facilities, individual and group

counseling in the outpatient setting, health promotion or work site wellness,

and public speaking.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

- Licensed, registered dietitian.

- Continuing education necessary to maintain registration and licensure .  

- Some limited local travel to sites may be required

- Professional liability insurance – can be obtained on your own or thru

employment

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

-Additional certifications in wellness/fitness/sports dietetics/food

sensitivities/health education

-Experience in counseling or coaching

- Experience in health promotion or work-site wellness and public speaking

- Competent with motivational interviewing or comparable counseling styles and

tools

- Internet, website and social media knowledge a plus
