Guest guest
Dear Crew, I'd lack to share some info that I received yesterday when having my MRI, and see what others of you have thought about this issue. I have always been under the impression that an open MRI was less accurate than a closed one, that an open one has fewer magnets and that contributes to less accuracy. (I don't know from where I heard this, but I'm sure it was a medical source.) My MRI yesterday was done at a high quality place in an open MRI. They told me the above was not true for MRI's of the head - that it could be true for certain areas of the body, like the abdominal area.... Am I the only one here who has been misguided? Barbara B.
