Guest guest
I *LOVE* Canadian Bacon. I wish it was not SOOOO expensive! Just this morning for breakfast I had 2 slices Canadian Bacon, 2 eggs with skim mozzarella cheese and celery/natural peanut butter. YUM!! Your 'Egg Mc' sounds yummy! Thanks for the info on the crackers, also. And, no.. I have not tried the light Laughing Cow. My mistake... I thought the original Laughing Cow was somehow lower fat! Well, it is lower fat if you compare to other full-fat cheeses. Guess I should not be eating Laughing Cow right now since it is full-fat. When I was at the store, I did not see any light. And, they only had the swiss kind. Do any of you know... can I eat Laughing Cow original right now, as long as I don't have too much of it? It is so yummy... I should have known it was full of fat. One wedge has 4g fat, or 1 cube has 1g fat. Is it OK? Egg Mc This morning I devised what is my version of Eggs Benedict. The only thing is I didn't use the muffin or hollandaise sauce. LOL. Instead, in a bit of Pam I cooked up two slices of Hormel Canadian Bacon and when they were almost finished I put a small slice of cheese on each one and it was really enjoyable. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:September by munde Pilcher and Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill Just Finished: The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson ( 3rd Degree by ©

Guest guest
You'r so right - my husband was complaining about the cost of this and the little Jello cups. I just glared at him. LOL ~~ in NJ~~ >>>>> , You are So right! Eating this way is SOOO much more expensive! Seems like I am going at least every few days for more fresh produce. And, yes... the things we need are so much more expensive! It is cheaper to buy bad for you (white bread, sugar cereal, cheap frozen pizzas, etc) I went to a different grocery store this afternoon, and found the Light Laughing Cow. It is in the round barrel, and has little wedges. It is good! 1 of those is nice for a creamy snack. I ended up needing more lowfat cheese, canadian bacon (found a package of 10 at Publix for the same price as a package of 6 at Piggly Wiggly), produce, jello cups, etc. I went in for a few items... and $75 later came out with my bags! Geesh. But, they also had boneless/skinless chicken breasts on sale. I also needed to get more sugar free popsicles and fudgsicles. I must feed my sweet tooth... it is what is keeping me sane! My husband thinks it is way too expensive as well. So, I just don't tell him what I spend. I balance the checkbook, anyway. He just eats the food. OK, I am famished. My errands took much longer than I expected. I should carry a little bag of pistachios with me or something. But, I have some tuna fish and a whole bunch of grape tomatoes waiting for my lunch! yum! Guest guest
On Phase II or III, buy Jello Sugar Free Pudding Mix, make it with skim milk, and your pudding should be fat free AND sugar free. The 35 calories for a serving for the mix would count against your daily 75 calorie sweet treat allowance and use 1/2 cup of your daily 2 cup milk allowance. > In a message dated 3/14/04 11:33:30 AM Eastern Standard Time, > cscifers@p... writes: > > > > Any cheese with 6 grams of fat or less is " legal " . > > > > Thanks - I was wondering. Guest guest
We were once " empty nesters " , but have had a granddaugher living with us for just over 5 years. Our hands were really full when she first joined us shortly before her second birthday. Now that she's 7, we'd be lost if she left us. If there were Jello cups in our house, I think our little one would make sure that they belonged to her.
