ABA and Behavior therapy for $2,500

Dear Listmates:

Behavior Analysis, Inc., is an approved State of Florida Vendor for The

Department of Children and Families allocation of $2,500.00, which has

recently been given to families on the Medicaid Waiver wait list.

We have received many calls requesting guidance on how best to maximize

these limited funds and are please of offer the following options. These

options are also available through private funding.

1. ABA (VERBAL BEHAVIOR/DISCRETE TRIALS) PROGRAM. This includes (a)

attendance at a two-day training ( " Teaching Language and Communication

Skills to Children with Autism and Related Disorders " ) designed to prepare

participants to implement and oversee a strong ABA (Verbal Behavior)

program; ( a comprehensive assessment of your child's strengths and

weaknesses in many areas including language, communication, social skills,

learning skills, and many, many other skills; and © in-home training and

consultation (up to five home visits). The total for this program is $2,125

for one parent or $2,500 for two parents or one parent and an in-home

therapist.

2. REDUCING OR ELIMINATING BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS. This includes (a) attendance

at our very useful " Positive Behavior Management for Parents " workshop; and

( in-home training and consultation by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

(up to three home visits). The cost of this entire program is only $1000 per

person. We offer an additional option for parents who live with older

children or are dealing with more challenging behaviors. This includes (a)

attendance at our " Advanced Tools for Behavior Management for Parents "

workshop (individualized and very limited enrollment) and ( in-home

training and consultation by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (up to three

home visits). The cost of the advanced program is $1250 and the participant

must have completed our " Positive Behavior Management for Parents. "
