Wondering About WhatI Ate I'm wondering if I did this right Yesterday for breakfast I had 2 egg whites cooked in Pam and two slices of the best turkey bacon I ever ate - Butterball thin and crsipy also cooked in Pamfor snack I had 1 piece of Laughing Cow Light CheeseFor lunch a large salad of many veggies with a bit of mayo and three slices of roast beefFor snack celery with hummus and 30 pistachio nutsFor dinner a veal chop, broccolli sauted in olive oil and a salad with vinegar and a bit of oil.For desert jello SF with FF cool whipCan you tell me if I ate right? Should I not have had the celery with hummus and nuts - was this too much for a snack?I also had 10 glasses of water but only 4 servings of veggies unless my salad in the afternoon counted as two portions. in NJSo Many Books, So Little TimeCurrently reading: The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Just finished: The Swallows of Kabul by Yasmina Khadra (A) Spetember by munde Pilcher (A) The South Beach Diet by Arthur Agastson (B+) 3rd Degree by ©

Guest guest
I think you should add some veggies in with breakfast or the first snack (maybe raw veggies just to munch on the side or else make an omelet). My dh has veggies in an omelet. I prefer to have my eggs plain and have the veggies on the side. Otherwise, it sounds like a good day Thanks for the sugegstion - I'll try making a veggie omelet more often. For those who eat eggs in the morning how many days of the week do you eat the whoel egg. I eat 2 whoel eggs every other day and wonder if this is OK? ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:The Other Boleyn Girl by a Just Finished: The Swalllows of Kabul by Yasmina Khadra (A) September by munde Pilcher (A) Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill ( The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson (B+) 3rd Degree by ©
Guest guest
Your snack was not too big IMO. You are not supposed to go hungry so if you need to eat then eat J If you are worried, then just snack on more raw veggies. And if the salad was very big, sure it would count as two servings. I think it’s a good idea to spread veggies out throughout the day though, so you have the energy from the good carbs. But my dh has a HUGE salad at lunch too. There’s no need to cut back on lettuce, lol! He has snacks veggies, dinner veggies and breakfast veggies too. Sounds good to me - thank goodness I love veggies.

Guest guest
I don't have any restrictions from my dr. with eating eggs, based upon my OK cholesterol and triglycerides. I usually eat 1 whole egg each morning, and add egg beaters, to make my omelet/scrambled eggs. Thanks I have no restrictions either but seem to be alternating between egg whites and whole eggs. I'm afraid I don't like the container of egg whites or egg beaters. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:Price of Lost Places by Kathy Hepinstall Next Read:The Mists of Avalon by n Zimmer Bradley Just Finished: The Other Boleyn Girl by a ( The Swalllows of Kabul by Yasmina Khadra (A) September by munde Pilcher (A) Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill ( The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson (B+) 3rd Degree by ©
