In the P.E. she states: " Normal external uncircumcised male. s/l 'End of circumcised samosis' is hypopigmented, some redness and irritation noted. " TIA! Guest guest Posted May 25, 2001 Report Share Posted May 25, 2001 samosis is probably phimosis, which means stenosis or narrowness of preputial orifice so tha the foreskin cannot be pushed back over the glans penis. When I used to work at a nursing home, this was quite the problem in elderly males, and it became quite painful because they were uncircumcised. val Word help, please. > Patient has painful foreskin.
