Guest guest
Yep...liver problems can develop as I understand it. I think I am going to go look up everything I can to understand it. I get checked every 6 months to see if my liver is enlarged or my bloodwork " off " . Funny thing of it is...I can tell you that warm lemonade to drink first thing in the morning is supposed to help the movement of toxins from the liver...That is from a nutrition book. I certainly hope he is better soon.

My job has been my obstacle to come and say hi!!!I want to share this restlessness in my heart with so you can tell me your thoughts...Yesterday my b/f was sent by his gastroenterologist to take an abdominal ultrasound to look for the possible cause of frecuent stomachaches and diarrea, doctor said "probably some vesicle problems". But the ultrasound said "swollen liver"! Could this be related to MS? Or maybe to the drugs he had taken before (interferon, steroids, etc.)? Has anyone had something similar? Thanks for your comments...Love to you all No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.Version: 7.1.409 / Virus Database: 268.15.19/587 - Release Date: 12/14/2006
Guest guest
Yes it can be from the interferon. While on an interferon drug a person should have blood tests for elevated liver enzymes. I'm really sorry to hear about this but hopefully it can be reversed. It's good to hear from you though!Sharon I was trying to daydream, but my mind kept wandering. Guest guest
Helen, It happened to me when I was 1st assist to a surgeon. Woke up and my left arm didn't work. Went through every test possible then it started working again. That is before I had the probable MS diagnosis My name is ' and I am a nurse in Northeast Texas and still working full time I have a 13 1/2 yr old son and a daughter that will be 6 next month. She lost her 1st tooth on Friday. I'm 36 and for my 36th birthday I got a cane this year. Ithought you were suppossed to get one as a joke at 40 but then that's the way MS is. After a tough summer, I'm back to "my" norm but still have to self cath. My bladder function is permentally damaged. I have a husband that is 41 and owns his own remodeling business but with gas prices, energy costs, and the slowing house market, business has not been booming soo I'm the main provider for the household.
