Almost 4 years ago I joined weight watchers and lost my weight within 6 months. I was vigilant and exercised almost daily. But once the weight was off I began playing games although I continued to attend meetings sporadically. In the past few months I've been out of control. Las week after a visit to the periodontist my husband treated me to donuts -- not 2 or 3 but a dozen and within two days they were all gone. Of course my husband also ate some but I knew the time had come for me to do something. I began SBD but decided to also count my points as if I was at WW. Although you can eat those bad carbs at ww I did stay away fromthem and ate 5 portions of veggies and of course 8 - 10 glasses of water. I found that at the end of the day I ate the total number of points I was supposed to eat according to weight watchers. Now they also give you flex points which you can add on for the week but I think you're better off keeping your original number in mind. I do think WW is a good program for some - if you're disciplined and can eat the one cookies or 1/2 portion of pasta but I couldn't the second time around and decided once and for all to see if without those bad carbs I would feel better. I do and as the book said I don't have those nasty cravings.
