Guest guest
From what I've been hearing from those that are trying this, it seems to be cumulative, the chemicals are added to tampons, pads and liners. It's a marketing tactic to increase symptoms of PMS to get women to buy more products, like PMS pain meds, etc... One woman that wrote to me off list described a visit to a doc for an odor problem that she was experiencing during her periods, one that she'd never had before.. It was a reaction caused by a chemical in the brand of pads that she'd started using... I stopped using commercial pads and tampons last January.... each month since then it's better and better.... I admit that I did it for financial reasons. Commercial products were costing me too much... But now that I've switched.. I have no intention of going back.... A very strong incentive for those that are not sure... by making your own pads, they give instructions on the site, or you can purchase them, you can make a pad that will fit your body. Long enough for those of us with a larger body shape.... I no longer have to get up in the morning to check sheets to see if I made it through the night... No more restless sleep, broken sleep, worrying about getting up to change.. I can now sleep through like any other night of the month.. that, alone, is worth it! I'm not trying to harp... but it's such a positive difference to me.. I want to share what I've learned. Topper () On Mon, 13 Oct 2003 02:23:07 -0000 " loboshe " writes: > Not yet.
