Just wanted to let you all know that I have found another person in the U.S. with Autoimmune Enteropathy!!! She is a 20 year old college student in Wisconsin. I wrote to her yesterday after finding her bio. on the internet and she wrote back today and said she would love to keep in touch! Sounds like her beginning was very much like my son's--she even had a G-tube for the first 3 years. But now she can eat a regular diet! She's short (4'9") and has the "puffiness" and mood side effects from the Pred. but other than that she says she feels GREAT as long as she takes her meds.

I know it sounds stupid, but I am sitting her crying. It's just SO GOOD to actually have found somebody who is an adult, and who has had this since infancy, and is still doing really well (considering)!

Anita...a happy mommy right now =-)

Dear Friends,

Just wanted to let you know my good news. The surgeon's nurse just called and my lump was benign. I was trusting that this would be the case, but it is wonderful that it has been confirmed. I am supposed to see him tomorrow, but since they had the results and they knew I wanted to know, they called.

Isn't it a wonderful day!

Blessings,

Debbie K.
