Maybe the FS folks will give you a referral to a food bank so you'll have food until the food stamps comes through? I know that's what they do here. Is food stamps a county program in IN? You have so many counties there. Arizona only has 14 counties but I think you have 90 or so, isn't that right? When I was working in children's services I had to try to track down info on a parent who's child we had removed. I was horrified, and ultimately very overworked, when I discovered all the Indiana child services records were by county and not by state. I made so many darned phone calls and talked to lots of very nice folks in county offices all over Indiana. LOLAsk the FS folks if they have a list of agencies that may be able to help you with your current circumstances such

as utilities. You mentioned a few days ago that you haven't been taking showers very often because it wears you out so bad. I know you said you have a shower chair. Is your shower in the bathtub or a shower only? I know sometimes it's an effort for me to climb into the bathtub shower but that's all I have. And then when I get out I always do so very carefully because I don't want to fall and break a bone, you know? Would any accomodations help? Good luck tomorrow!Sharon I was trying to

I go in tomorrow at 8am for an appt for food stamps or whatever they can help with. I'm getting ready to call my township trustee to get an appt with them so I can get help with electric. I got paid yesterday and am officially out of $. I absolutely HATE this. Shirley

My mother retired from the Walfare department in Noblesville, IN maybe she spoke to you at one time.

She use to bring home some of the walfare cheese they gave to people. Do you know if they still do that? I am not a big fan of cheese.
