Hi everyone!

I am really getting the feeling that I am the only one in the world who

has the luck to find out about a pregnancy 5 months post op. So far, no

one here has done this yet, and none of the docs I have chatted with can

tell me of anyone else (online or off) who has gone through this.

I am flabbergasted that no one else has become pregnant after surgery,

and honestly, I am abit worried about it. I can't find anyone to ask

questions too. I guess I am so used to chatting about Chiari and asking

questions here that I am abit overwhelmed.

So far, everything is progressing as it should. Unfortunately, I got

hit with morning sickness 24-7 (and I think my lack of gag reflex isn't

helping any - my stomach is naseaus all day and even though I am not

vomiting - can't, I guess - I think this is worse!)

My headaches are horrid again, and even though my doc warned me about

it (hormones?) I am finding it hard to deal with both my stomach and my

head at the same time.

I go back to the nsg on the 24th, and then to my OB on the 28th for my

first visit with them. I really could use some help in what to talk

with them about, how to explain everything, and what I should look out

for. The OB specializes in high-risk, but am I really a high-risk?

When Kellas was born, there was no problem (either in pregnancy - which

was a breeze - or in the birthing itself).

Also, I am worried about taking too much painkiller. I was able to

stop for about a week, then I had to start again. I was absolutely

miserable.

Any suggestions would be very helpful!

Slainte, Cyn
