Guest guest
My son (12 yrs old) needs to do a charitable project. He decided to raise money for Autism. Can you please suggest some charities we can check into. In addition to any others charities you can suggest, are there any charities whose donations go towards therapy for the children whose parents might otherwise not be able to afford therapy? I am sure there are many charities that raise money for the fight for a cure for autism. We want to know these as well. However my son was thinking that maybe since he knows how much the cost of therapy can be if it is not covered by the state, he may want to be involved with this type of charity which goes towards helping those children who have autism instead of the fight against it. Thanks for your suggestions

Guest guest
The Broward Autism Foundation gives scholarships for recreational and camp programs for children and adults with autism. It also pays for childcare for the Autism Society meetings and much more. We need your help. Thanks, Eileen Roth
