Subject: Adrenal Support Vit and Herbs

1. Vitamin C is the most abundant vitamin used by adrenals. Also used for

bruising, bleeding gums, nosebleeds, detoxifier, colds, asthma, spider veins

hot flashes, hemorrhoids, immune system. According to Hulda , powdered

C should be kept in a plastic shaker, and added to foods and drinks. It also

acts as an anti bacterial agent when added to all canned foods. Some books

say to take as much as 3000-4000mg of vitamin c, so along with Vitamin C

capsules with bioflavanoids, this will not be too much. Mineral Purchase 12

cans does not mean you have to buy 12 cans!

2. tyrosine (amino acid that also aids in depression and us be taken on an

empty stomach along with vitamin C, magnesium and B6). Avoid this product if

you are taking any MAO inhibitor antidepressants, have high blood pressure,

migraine headaches, and/or have PKU.

3. A mineral test can show a shortage of zinc, or too much copper which can

be brought back into proportion by taking zinc (take ONLY if you have a

shortage of zinc) or sulfur supplements.

4. Taking the herbs mullien and lobelia are valuable to the parasympathetic

system which slows down the fight-or-flight reaction caused by stress.

5. Taking medications such as lithium, depekote, carbamazapine (tegretol)

for long periods of time will diminish thyroid activity.

7. Siberian Ginseng-don't take with high cortisol, stronger than licorice.
