Guest guest
Ken, Thank you for the ADHD info. I'm wondering what type of mito disorder has. I can never keep everyone straight on the list and the deal is I want to correlate what type of mito disorder(s) are prevalent in families where ADHD exists in ANY family member-it doesn't necessarily have to be the mito patient who has the ADHD. Keep your chin up with . Remember the old sayings about not borrowing trouble. I used to worry so bad and I have seen that it wastes my energy when I need it to cope with whatever really happens. So many worries turned out OK in the end. Stay positive as you can for him too, he will follow your lead. And you all rest whenever you can as you know. God might be working with your patient in a different way than you expected it to go. I'm guilty of planning the whole thing out and then ask Him to follow MY plan-He rarely does and boy, am I glad in the end! Maybe you see the whole scenario one way and God has it planned for some other reason you don't know another way. It hurts to see pain and sorrow but sometimes it's needful for some reason. S. Spoke with the rheumatologist (arthritis doc) the other day after the bone scan findings, and he still wants to see . We go there at 11:00, and then for an MRI at 2:45. Waiting to see what that looks like (suspect and HOPE normal). We then see ortho on Fri and will see what the opinion is about biopsy. I'll keep everyone posted as to our progress. > >---------------- >On some other notes, my patient gained 11 ounces in one week. Told parents they should be happy, but not too happy so that should next week she drop, the roller coaster ride won't be too difficult. Their insurance company did finally approve the trip to Atlanta, so I should find out soon when the date is. My thoughts are to put the tube feeds on hold for the time being and just wait and see. The few weeks (hopefully) delay probably won't make a big difference in the long run. > >---------------- >As for ADHD, has ADHD, there is a lot of this on 's side of the family as well as depression and some bi-polar disease. The Alzheimer's comes from everyone on my mother's side - mother, her mother, her mother, and I think a couple of other women if my memory serves me correctly (forgive the pun). > >Ken > > >------------------------------------------------------------------------ >Show mom you love her.
