I was excited about this...but then typed " splenda " into my browser and

immediately found information explaining that splenda is the result of

tinkering with chlorine molecules...and it's not good for you...and as bad as

aspartame etc.etc.

The information shouldn't be too hard to find on a simple search.

I read that site too and notice that it is the only site (other than

Dr. Mercola's mirror site) that talks about the dangers of Splenda.

Doing a search on Dr. Mercola though you will find he is listed at

the Quackwatch website. Because of that....I tend to NOT believe

what he says about Splenda. It has been suggested that he sells his

own items and will put out negative information on other products in

order to sell his own.

Since his is the one and only negative site about Splenda....I would

tend to dimiss his theory.

BUT...do your own research and come up with your own conclusion.

Many diabetics are using Splenda without problems.

I seldom use any artificial sweeteners. I seldom put sugar in anything. I

do eat naturally sweet fruits and sometimes I seem to have a craving for

something sweet and fruity. But my sugar container stays full most of the time

because I never open it. When I eat in a restaurant I usually order diet cola

but that is the only time I use artificial sweeteners.

If you can get away from sweets it will be to your benefit and you will not have

to worry about whether your sweetener is good or not.

For us with IC artificial sweeteners are a huge NO NO!!! they are a severe

bladder irritant. So please if you have IC or think you do don't use artificial

sweeteners.
