Have any of you been given a script for Lunesta yet? I just saw the commercial that was due out on April 24th. It says this on their site, http://www.lunesta.com/ :

Unlike some other sleep aids, Lunesta helps you sleep all through the night with fewer interruptions.

AND

Lunesta does not lose its effectiveness over time as shown in a 6-month study.

AND

Lunesta is the first and only prescription sleep aid approved for long-term use.

So it won't be like Ambien and all the other stuff I tried which just stops working after the first month or so? And the docs won't have a problem with scripting it long-term, huh? I know my doc will probably give it to me if I ask, but I don't want to lose my temazepam script since it is the only thing that works for me. I wanted to get any opinions of this new stuff before I try it. I am really wary about trying new meds that have just come out. Look how many of them get recalled because they end up finding they can cause some kind of real problem later on. This stuff sounds too good to be true, IMO. In a group this big there must be someone here who has just gotten a script for it, or who will very soon. So, and info, please post. I'm very interested to see if this stuff does what it says it will. I know you won't be able to tell me if it works after a few months yet, but I DO want to know if it helps you STAY asleep. TIA-
