Guest guest
Hello Mike and everyone....Happy Holidays, I personally haven't come across a site that initially involves both Type 1 and CDers. But, have you checked out www.childrenwithdiabetes.com? Click here: children with DIABETES On-line Community ....It's a very good informative site, but unfortunately doesn't talk about celiac. Is your daughter on an insulin pump? If not, you should positively check into it with your endo, what a life saver! Corey, my 11 yr. old son, has been gluten-free for about a month and a half now and is doing much better. No vomiting, lose stools, etc. His skin seems to be getting better too which is such a relief, but still struggling with a little eczema. After seeing his high celiac test results, my husband and I have decided not to do a biopsy even though that's what is called for to get a definite answer. I think my intuition and gut feeling was enough. It's been a tough road for us and I can relate to everything you guys are going through...good luck,

Guest guest
, Thanks for responding. I have browsed briefly at " childrenwithdiabetes.com, " but need to surf it a little more to see what they have to offer. has indeed been on the pump for almost 2 full years and it makes a world of difference. Lynette, I received your email and apologize for not responding to Aisling sooner, I too was excited for and Aisling...it will now be a priority. We have been incredibly busy with a musical at a nearby community theater, but finally put our last performance in the book...with a slower pace, Jess will be sending Aisling an email soon. Respectfully, Mike > Hello Mike and everyone....Happy Holidays, > > I personally haven't come across a site that initially involves both Type 1 > and CDers.
