Guest guest
I apologize, but I've had them burst... I thought it was my appendix. Then I got pink watery discharge. Scared me to death. Doc said not to worry, the worst was over... sure it was over for him. Tig Re: cysts actually, every woman will develop cysts sometime inher life. It's all a part of being human. Guest guest
You're right. Amazing that a man had the nerve to say the worst was over... it wasn't. I can develop cysts at any time and usually do. I've recently come off birth control pills and want to see what happens. The pills helped keep them under control. I had a trans vag ultra sound once and there were a couple of cysts on my left ovary adn the doc wanted to wait 6 weeks to see if it grew of not.... 6 weeks later, another trans vag ultra sound....... and there were NO cysts on my left ovary, but there were on my right. Doc decided it was hormonal. When mine burst, I was 30 (48 now). The doc then did a laprascop to see inside... I had cysts on my ovaries and tubes, but they were small. The only problem with that procedure was... I didn't want to come out of the anesthesia. I could hear the doc, but it was like he was miles away. He even went to my mother and told her, "I think she likes wherever she is in that anesthesia, she doesn't want to come out of it." My mother replied... that sounds like her. It was so nice and peaceful. I still remember it.... of course the puking on the way home wasn't great. Tigger Re: cysts actually, every woman will develop cysts sometime inher life. Guest guest
Yes, that is what my Doc said, that mine was hormonal.... I do get pain when in whichever ovary I release the egg from when I ovulate, it can be very painful some months.... I think I know why you like staying Knocked out.... No pain, ha. Plus puking part would be enough to make me want to stay under, lol. You're right. Amazing that a man had the nerve to say the worst was over... it wasn't. Guest guest
Well.... this topic is quite unsavory. Now i am wondering how many bursting cysts i've had unbeknownst to me; as i just assume that all those sharp stabbing pains that feel like a carving knife digging out my female organs & multi-coloured discharges were "normal". Had no idea there might be fireworks going on in there.... -jaaaaaaaana

While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone. **FzyWzy**
