Guest guest
I cannot emphasize the importance of everyone becoming involved in getting this Doctor appointed as our new Surgeon General. With children and loved ones with brain injury and other problems, I do not have to tell you how important it is to have someone that believes in alternative therapies on our side. With friends like Dr. Bill Duncan and others working for us in the government sector, if we can get Dr. Cramer as our Surgeon General, the " win " will be so much closer for all of us. Below is the email from e Creacy which I want everyone to take very seriously and use every center of influence you have. Contact your Congressmen, Senators, everyone you can think of. Please read it carefully. This is a battle that can be won if we all fight it together. Forward this message to any other lists you are on and use it wherever you think it will be effective. Hartsoe Dear list members - My name is e Creacy. Some of you know me and my husband, some of you do not. The story you have read about Texas Medicaid paying for 40 hbot for an " off-label " treatment of STROKE is about Bill and the long journey we have traveled in accomplishing this. We recently won our appeal with the State of Texas Medicaid for l00 more hyperbaric oxygen treatments. This could not have been accomplished without the professional and personal help from a doctor, who in our opinion, leads the way for all of the patients who have suffered from a neurological injury - because of his research and never-ending dedication to proving the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for neurological conditions. This doctor is Dr. Harch. We will forever be in gratitude to this man. Today - I need your help on a national basis. A very dear friend of ours has been nominated by President Bush to be our next Surgeon General. His name is Dr. Kramer - " Dr. Bob " . All 3 of my children have grown up with and loved " Dr. Bob " . Even as they have become adults, we have remained close. So close, that when Bill lay dying in a hospital from a massive brain aneurysm in l997and we had been there for 6 hours with little treatment, all it took was a phone call to " Dr. Bob " and he and Dr. Duke Sampson (Chief of Neuro-surgery at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas) had a helicopter in the air to bring him to Dr. Sampson in a matter of about 20 minutes. Bill would have died if not for our devoted doctor. Dr. Bob never left my youngest son's side at Children's Medical Center when he had spinal meningitis at l8 months and in a coma for 2l days. He is a wonderful, caring doctor and has accomplished some remarkable things. He has been Chief of Staff at Children's Medical Center - Chief of Staff at Presbyterian Hospital - Chief of Staff at Baylor Hospital - Directed and built the Children's Restorative Care Center for Baylor - owned one of the largest and most prestigious pediatric group practices in Texas - applied for the very lst alternative medicine research grant from the NIH - was Medical Director for s and Lybrand - Conducts the Wall Street Journal's Summit Medical Meeting yearly - Taught in several medical schools - Started the research on Cystic Fybrosis and had the 4th largest CF medical practice in the nation - consults to s Hopkins. etc. etc. DR. ROBERT KRAMER IS VERY INTERESTED IN HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY because of his involvement with Bill and his remarkable improvement since we began hbot and will be on our board of directors and a consultant to our future center. As I have recently learned, the NIH and the FDA both filter up to the Surgeon General. Dr. Kramer is eager and willing to help in any way he can to further the hyperbaric field. This man has spent his life taking care of children. He has stood out on limbs that others would dare not climb. He has taken a stand when others have stood silent. Yet, he has the respect of all those who cross his path. He has taken care of the children of some of the wealthiest people in some of the most influential places. He has taken care of mine. He is not a politician. He is a children's advocate. He fights long and he fights hard for these little ones who cannot fight for themselves. The way we got House Bill l676 for brain unjured adults and children passed into law in Texas was through a grass roots effort. I call upon your help one more time. Please fax Cervantes (personal assist. to Clay (Head of White House Personnel and the team working on the nomination of Surgeon General for Pres. Bush) at 202-456-5464 or call Clay at 202-456-9713 to tell them you are in favor of Dr. Kramer becoming our next Surgeon General. They are using faxes instead of emails right now because of 9-ll. There is also Senator Ted Kennedy - who heads up the Health Committee. Of course, there is President Bush who is a personal friend of Dr. Bob. Pls. pass this to as many people as you can who can help Dr. Kramer in becoming our next Surgeon General. I appologise for using this forum for this post. I was trying to reach as many people as I could who might have an interest in this doctor and the fact that he could possibly help with our efforts. Thank you for allowing me this time. There are so many who have emailed me about their loved ones. All I can say is " Run - do not walk " to investigate the possible benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for you or your loved ones. This is the one treatment (after we had tried everything) that gave us any real hope for further recovery for Bill. I hope Bill's long journey " back " can be of help to those who are constantly struggling daily to find " their own way " . I truly know what it is like to feel helpless and hopeless. There is light. Ours came inside a steel chamber when Bill looked scared through a clear plastic hood, and was told to BREATHE. e Creacy

Guest guest
Yes-- olive leaf extract is good for viral issues and bacterial. Oil of oregeno is good for bacteria and fungus. So you could just up the olive leaf extract. I give my kids theirs in applesauce and it really helps it go down without a fight. The epsoms would draw out any toxins. Are you doing those already? If so, I would double it. For example go from one cup to two cups.. You could also use, vinegar on the bites... yep, vinegar. If you can get a hold of " braggs " brand thats the best one. Or just apple cider vinegar... good luck!!! > > > > > > > > > My daughter had mosquito bites that she scratched and they got > > > infected a little bit. Guest guest
Tea tree oil has antiseptic properties, you can use that topically next time instead of the antibiotic cream. > > I just got back from the doctor. Guest guest
Next time for bites try one of these - Aconitum napellus: When feeling fearful after a bite or sting. Cutting, stabbing, or burning pain with numbness, swelling, tingling. Good for right after incident and follow with other indicated remedy. Apis mellifica: When bite or bee sting is red or pink, hot, swollen and tender. Stinging, burning pain. Helps severe allergic reactions of stings and snake bites that cause swelling/closure of air passages (also seek emergency treatment) Cantharis: Intense burning pain. Area can be blistery and inflamed. Carbolicum acidum: May have trouble breathing, feel weak and sick. Face can be dark/red and pale around the mouth. Hypericum: Great for injuries in areas rich in nerves. First aid in bites and stings. Pain usually shooting and can have tingling and numbness. Ledum palustre: Swelling often with a purple or bluish tinge. Area feels cold but relieved by cold on it. Numbness and aching pain. Lyme. Urtica urens: Burning, itching, red, intensely itchy after insect bites and hives. It is also a useful remedy for hives that sting & itch. With these there is usually no need for antibiotics. Topically - Calendula cream, gel or ointment will relieve and heal. If you need any instructions do let me know. Be well, Liz > > My daughter had mosquito bites that she scratched and they got > infected a little bit. I went a put antibiotic cream on them and they > developed a big red ring around them. Guest guest
> > My daughter had mosquito bites that she scratched and they got > infected a little bit. B1 will eliminate the tendency to get mosquito bites. Years ago, when we were bit [and we were mosquito magnets], the bites would swell into little golf ball sized welts and itch terribly. With B1, if we get bit at all, they are small/normal sized. And now, since our B1 levels are better, we can walk into a room with 1000 hungry mosquitos, without any repellant on, and not get bit at all. I use OLE for bacterial infections.
