Hi, Vicky,

What a bummer. However, I think the second ablation is required

pretty often, so I wouldn't be too discouraged. From what I've read,

the cure rate after two is very high with the right doc. Esp flutter

should be easy to fix.

Vicki,

I am so sorry to hear about this development, but like you, I expected it

since it seems that many or most persons who have ablations must have two

before the afib is finally licked. This is a nuisance, like taking Couamdin,

but you just have to remember how glorious all those days of sinus have felt

and know that those days will again be in your future after your second

ablation. It would have been more convenient to have only one ablation, but

the second one should be easier since you now know exactly what to expect and

should have no fear.

Best wishes,

in Seattle

Vicky,

My heart goes out to you. No pun intended. I admire your resolve to have it

taken care of. Very British you know! I'm sure the second time will take care

of this inconvience. As you have said " Been there, Done That "

Good luck!

Hi Vicky

So sorry to hear of your latest episode. Are you out of the woods yet?

I've always felt British but with a strong connection to the US. Left

Thanks, Fran.

No - still " all of a flutter " (puts a new meaning on that expression!).

I'm contacting my Cardio today, though as yet haven't heard back and I'm

a bit concerned he might be on holiday.

I'm pretty certain I'll need a second ablation.

Best of health to all,

Vicky
