Guest guest
I think what you're seeing is the result of weighing yourself too often. Everyone's weight fluctuates from day to day, depending on water retention, etc. The best thing you can do is just weigh yourself once or twice a week at most. Then you won't get so bothered by the normal daily weight fluctuations. You look like you're eating fine and being very thoughtful with your choices. Don't sweat the mini water weight stuff! Guest guest
Don't forget too that your clothes add to your weight as does any food you have already eaten for the day. I prefer to weigh myself at home without clothes before I have eaten anything. I know then my clothes aren't making me feel heavier than I am. Guest guest
.... I fall into the 'weigh every day' trap. In fact, I sometimes will hop on the scale later in the day! I am very heavy (275)(down from 292, though!) and can see fluctuations of 2-3 pounds during the day, and from day to day. It is *amazing*! I know it is all water weight, and depending upon how much I have eaten, what I have eaten, when I last ate, etc. After I saw a jump of 2.5 pounds from yesterday (which I know there is NO WAY I ate enough food to gain a true 2.5 pounds)... I finally resolved to put the scale AWAY and weigh every Monday morning. Why don't you just not weigh at home at all (or at school).. and just get weighed at your WW meetings? I'll do it, if you will. It will save us both a lot of heartache. What is most important is that we feel better, and our clothes get looser. > Ok - I know I wasn't supposed to do this but I weighed myself this > morning. As a reinforcement I still go to WW weigh ins and > meetings and this afternoon is my meeting - I figure that the > support is good and I also have an accurate measure of weight > since our school scale and WW is the same.... > > in NJ

Guest guest
nancy or you drinking diet drinks..some people tend to retain water..even if you are drinking your water sodium can deter weight loss..the two things that always made me not lose weight or gain is lack of exerise and not drinking my water...maybe increase your exercise ..drink more water....??? Nope - I haven't had any soda in a week but also haven't walked as much as I should have. I'm going to try and up my water and also walk more and see. I also plan on going to a WW meeting on Saturday morning when I can stay and get some points from them as long as it isn't in conflict with what I'm doing with SBD. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy Just Finished:Prince of Lost Places by Kathy Hepinstall (A-) The Other Boleyn Girl by a ( The Swalllows of Kabul by Yasmina Khadra (A) September by munde Pilcher (A) Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill ( The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson (B+) 3rd Degree by ©

Guest guest
Calm down, relax, breathe, you're doing great. Thanks so much. You know when I was on weight watchers I kewn I had a certain amoutn of point sand when I freached them I was finished. But some of this is more open ended so I guess I have to learn not only what to eat but how much. And school is closed next week so I will just haev to be satisfied with the WW scale when I go there.

Guest guest
, I don't want to trivialize your concern, but 1/4 pound is half a cup of water. It would be very easy to appear to "gain" this from one day to the next. Stay OP, you're doing fine. But cutting down on salt and drinkin gmore water is always a good idea, as long as you maintain healthy levels of each. Calm down, relax, breathe, you're doing great. UPSET Ok - I know I wasn't supposed to do this but I weighed myself this morning. As a reinforcement I still go to WW weigh ins and meetings and this afternoon is my meeting - I figure that the support is good and I also have an accurate measure of weight since our school scale and WW is the same. But I got to work and just had to see what happened from yesterday and yipes I gained another 1/4 of a pound. I still lost 3 pounds this week which is fine but what bothers me is that I gained 1/2 pound towards the end of the week and don't know why.I am listing below what I ate for the day including my water. Hope somebody will review this and let me know where I went wrong or what I could do to improve my eating and losing - BTW - I am full and don't feel deprived and know that weight loss doesn't happen overnight but I am really being faithful to this so.......:B1 slice of lox1/2 of a large yellow pepperSnack - forgot to eat my snack so I ate it with lunchL 1 Lt Laughing Cow Cheese3 slices of roast beefSalad/1 Tbsp. MayoSnack1 creamsicle - 25 calories, 1 g sugar, 6 grams of carbs but now I need to check oils or fats30 pistachio nuts DinnerGrilled salmon with a small amount of dijon mustard and Mayo on the sideSalad/ Oil & Balsamic VinegarSteamed Stringbeans with nothingSnack - SF jello with FF cool whipLooking over this I think it might be too many items with salt although I didn't season the salmon at all. Also I think instead of eating pistchio nuts I might eat a veggie with Peanut better or hummus. in NJSo Many Books, So Little TimeCurrently reading: Prince of Lost Places by Kathy HepinstallJust finished: The Other Boleyn Girl by a ( The Swallows of Kabul by Yasmina Khadra (A) Spetember by munde Pilcher (A) The South Beach Diet by Arthur Agastson (B+) 3rd Degree by © Reminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. I found one thing that makes me crave like anything -- peanutbutter -- I'm staying away from it. I just wanted MORE AND MORE and had to fight myself like crazy. Not worth it.
