Overview:

The top 10 in-demand jobs in 2010 did not exist in 2004. Do you know

where your career is steering you to? Career management is an ongoing

process, critical no matter your circumstances - employed, not employed,

have your own business, working in a dream job, or taking a break from

professional career for now. The U.S. Department of Labor estimates that

today's learner will have 10 - 14 jobs by the age of 38. We are living

in exponential times. Learn the key to achieving lifetime job security.

The first step is to get to know yourself: personality, strengths, values,

interests and purpose. Then create a career road map to get you quickly

to where you are going without taking the 'scenic' route. Successful and

happy professionals do not happen by accident.

Learning Objectives:

- Discuss reasons why career management is an ongoing process

- Identify two methods for evaluating personality traits

- Name four parts to include on a career road map

Cost:

- Free to NE members and NE students

- Non member fee $15

- Non member student fee $10
