This is copied and pasted from my QLDBE for Synthroid:

Adults:

Oral: 12.5-50 mcg/day to start, then increase by 25-50 mcg/day at intervals

of 2-4 weeks; average adult dose: 100-200 mcg/day

Hope this helps :)

It's 0.125 mg. I take it. The tablet itself has 125 on it, and the label says

125 mcg.

I believe 1.25 mg and 125 mcg are the same thing. I hear endocrinologists

use them interchangably.

, Some docs try to give the Synthroid dose in mg instead of mcg.

Unfortunately, your doc got it wrong, 125 mcg would actually be 0.125 mg. Hope

that helps, Margaret
