When I chatted with Dr. Cave at the OASIS Conference in Portland Dec.

1 she indicated it does or had contained thimerosal.

What about fertility drug injections? do you have any info on this?

Several people have wondered if the labor inducing drug Pitocin contains

Thimerosal. Apparently, it does not. If you go to the link below you'll

find the manufacturer's product specifications sheet. I called the phone

number listed and asked the pharmacist there what preservative it did

contain. I was told the preservative was 0.5% Chlorobutanol. That doesn't

sound too friendly, but it's not mercury.

The link between Pitocin and autism has often been pondered by parents and

some professionals, but it would seem that if there is a link, it has

I don't know if it's true, but My 17 year old son was induced with Pitocin

and he is NT. My autistic son was born totally natural, no Pitocin and he is

autistic. Labor was approximately four hours.
