Guest guest
I *LOVE* Canadian Bacon. I wish it was not SOOOO expensive! Just this morning for breakfast I had 2 slices Canadian Bacon, 2 eggs with skim mozzarella cheese and celery/natural peanut butter. YUM!! You'r so right - my husband was complaining about the cost of this and the little Jello cups. I just glared at him. Guest guest
And, no.. I have not tried the light Laughing Cow. My mistake... I thought the original Laughing Cow was somehow lower fat! The Light cheese is in a little net bag and they are covered in white cellophane paper.. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:September by munde Pilcher and Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill Just Finished: The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson ( 3rd Degree by ©
Guest guest
Any cheese with 6 grams of fat or less is "legal". Thanks - I was wondering. I generally buy cheese at the deli counter and wonder if they'd let me see the label. A friend whose also on SBD said somethign about I think calories when I asked if we could eat fat free chocolate pudding later on - I think its something liek 100 calories. Does anybody knwo about this? ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:September by munde Pilcher and Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill Just Finished: The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson ( 3rd Degree by ©

Guest guest
Do any of you know... can I eat Laughing Cow original right now, as long as I don't have too much of it? It is so yummy... I should have known it was full of fat. One wedge has 4g fat, or 1 cube has 1g fat. Is it OK? The Light is realy good - unlike some things I think this tastes the same. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:September by munde Pilcher and Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill Just Finished: The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson ( 3rd Degree by ©
Guest guest
I" refuse to pay the price for the little Jello cups when I can make them so easily myself by boiling water and adding the Jello powder for a whole lot less money. I know this is an extravagance but to tell you the truth its premeasured - I only eat one and it makes my life easier. Since we're empty nesters now and I work I feel I am allowed some well deserved treats. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:September by munde Pilcher and Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill Just Finished: The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson ( 3rd Degree by ©
Guest guest
I don't know if you all have Costo or Sam's club where you live, but they have GREAT deals on Canadian Bacon -- big double packs of it for about $7.99. Probablyl 40 pieces of it in the packs. It's good too. Where is everyone finding the sugar-free Jello in the little cups? I can't find it anywhere and I'm sick of making big bowls of it....let's face it, I'm too LAZY to portion it out after I've made it! HAHA! Guest guest
The pudding has to be not onlyl fat free, but sugar free, and that's another thing I can't find in the little cups -- I'm in the boat with you -- empty nesters, work hard, I deserve my little cups! Guest guest
Ahhhh... Sam's Club. That is a good idea. I wonder if Super Walmart would have them for cheaper? I love Canadian Bacon. I find the sugar-free Jello in cups at all the grocery stores. I have found them different places, but usually in the cold section near the cream cheese. My husband was in the supermarket abd naturally purchased the Candian Bacon there. Now that I know it availabe at Costco I'll buy it in a bigger quantity to save money. The are made by Jello and I find them in any large supermarket in the dairy section. If you can't find it, why not ask the manager to order it for you. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:September by munde Pilcher and Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill Just Finished: The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson ( 3rd Degree by ©

Guest guest
Why not buy a bunch of 8 oz tupperware cups, and portion it out while it is still liquid. That way you have singlew servings at a minimal cost. That's what I do. That does sound like a plan. Now I just have to do it. Guest guest
I went to a different grocery store this afternoon, and found the Light Laughing Cow. It is in the round barrel, and has little wedges. It is good! 1 of those is nice for a creamy snack. Glad to hear this - I also enjoy them and can't wait ti try it on a piece of celery. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:September by munde Pilcher and Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill Just Finished: The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson ( 3rd Degree by ©
Guest guest
You are So right! Eating this way is SOOO much more expensive! Seems like I am going at least every few days for more fresh produce. I just realized that I have no veggies so its off th emarket in a few minutes. I'm off today and so far took my husband to the train, did two laundries, straightened up the house and wrote out some bills. I also got up at 5 so I am half asleep already. Didn't plan on going to the market but there realyl is no rest for the weary. Guest guest
OK, I am famished. My errands took much longer than I expected. I should carry a little bag of pistachios with me or something. I did this yesterday when we visited my MIL whop is th eoriginal bad eater. When we got there she had out candy and potato chips and lucky for me I was content to sit and eat my nuts. The fun came later when I couldn't resisit a hot donut. ~~ in NJ~~ So Many Books, So Little Time Currently Reading:September by munde Pilcher and Fear of Frying by Jill Churchill Just Finished: The South Beach Diet Book By Arthur Agastson ( 3rd Degree by ©
Guest guest
Ditto the suggestion of getting the little cups and making your own Jello cups. We have the 1/2-cup size Rubbermaid containers which is the exact size of a serving of the SF Jello. I just mix it up in a pyrex measuring cup with a pour spout and pour the liquid Jello into the cups. Voila! Perfect Jello cups that are ready to go where you do! And tons cheaper, even if you have to buy the Rubbermaid containers. I think when we bought them, it was at Walmart and they came in a pack of 4.
