THis was my question too, and nobody really said much about it. I am guessing it isn't worth it.You can sign up for the free daily newsletter. I think if you just stick with the book get the new one, which is cheap, Good fats good carbs ,or something like that, and come here often you will be on the right track. Save the money for a new outfit! Deb

Is it worth it to sub to the site? $5 a week is awfully expensive and there’s no way I can afford that but maybe I could sign up for a few weeks and then drop it.

CCReminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones-and enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats. Hello, --

South Beach Online is $29.95 for the first six weeks, then after

that it's $6.95 a month. Lots cheaper than Weight Watchers Online

was with, in my opinion, better services since you can " ask the

nutritionis " or " ask the doctor " your questions.

Have a great day on the Beach!

I am only charged $6.95 a month for my subscription. I love the

fact that I can just select our menu plan from a list of recipes and

then it will print out a menu with recipes and a shopping list. They

are always adding new recipes, and the message boards are a great

help. You guys are great on this board, but sometimes I like to go

straight to the nutrionists or even Dr. A himself. They have chats

on a weekly basis and several times Dr. A is present.

But, I have been a subscriber to Southbeachdietonline.com since

November, and honestly, I think I've just about used it all up! I

am considering unsubscribing. It has been a great help to us. We

are about halfway to our goal.

Did they just change the pricing? The last time I was at the site, it was a

$65 charge for the first quarter (13 weeks) and an automatic charge for each

quarter.

Well.... at $65 per quarter, that is $260 a year.

$6.95 a month would be eleven months for $76.45 + $29.95 for the first six weeks which would equal $106.40.

That would be a savings of $153.60 if it was $29.95 for the first six weeks and then $6.95 a month after that. (Plus two extra weeks.)

Hello,

At $29.95 for the first six weeks, the first six weeks came out to

$5 a week, but now I pay $6.95 a month which comes out to around

$1.75 a week. I think Weight Watchers online was around $60 to start

and around $14.95 a month. That makes South Beach a real bargain and

healthier to boot!
